Hey,im a french exchange student going to uw-la crosse.I just moved to la crosse and looking to meet new people. I'm a pretty friendly guy and I can generally get along with anyone. I'm a big gamer, but when I'm not doing that I enjoy going to movies, concerts, restaurants, going biking, travelling or playing tennis.

I'm a dude who's in school. I'm so busy that I don't really have time to socialize regularly right now. This is killing me, since I'm a pretty social guy by nature. I can't get out much since school takes up a lot of my nights. That's why I've been using OkC.

I'm a fairly sporty guy with a taste for adventure. I'm into rock climbing, just about any watersport, skiing, skating, biking and running.

I cook for myself when I can and like to garden when the opportunity presents itself. Homebrewing is a pastime, but I haven't had time to do it lately. When it comes to spending money, I tend to be thrifty. If I do spend money, it's less likely to be on a new wardrobe or a giant TV and more likely to be experiential, like eating out, a trip to another country, theatre or camping.

I don't like responding to essay questions unless I'm doing so in a blue book for 25% of my grade or more.

I guess first off I'm a geek. I never really thought it was much of a problem but I guess some people don't really like this. I'm not really socially awkward or reclusive, I just like playing games with my friends in my spare time.

I work second or third shift. What can I say, I'm a night person and I hate getting up early. For this reason oftentimes I will be online and will send emails and things at 2-3am. That's when I get home.

I love going to concerts and tend to do so whenever I can afford it. I am not opposed to driving many miles away to see them.

I like outdoorsy things too, especially hiking and playing in the water. I hope to get a canoe or kayak someday.

I have a short attention span and tend to be forgetful.

I love animals, particularly dogs.

I've managed to accomplish many important things in my life even thought there were events that seemed to try to pull me down. So, the stresses and evil moments aside, I'm intelligent, honest, humorous, relatively attractive and believe that we should treat each other kindly and fairly. I believe in relationships and, when involved, keep it that way. I guess the word is faithful. Yet, I am alone and crave the joys, pleasures and, yes, battles of companionship. We each have had our own lives and we should be able to maintain a portion of that within ourselves. We need some time, space and events to ourselves. But, only within the confines of maintaining our relationship.

I am currently a gymnastics coach for UW-LACROSSE. I take a lot of pride in being a positive role model in athletes lives and being able to teach them something new and exciting. My athletes are the most important part of my life. I am finally going to be done with school this coming May. After changing schools and majors in my senior year it has taken a bit longer than planned to get out.

I really don't know what to say here at forty something I've been around the block a few times. I enjoy life and everything that goes with it within reason. I am some one who enjoys just hanging out likes going for walks or drives, hikes or just hanging out either outside or just inside watching TV. Going to movies or out for a drink or dancing. I was born in LA and at 7 moved to northeast Iowa where I struggled to grow up in a very crappy redneck environment. I have been living in La Crosse the last 9 years and I have a great career with a great company. I am geek who likes to play video games and other similar activities. I enjoy fishing, boating, camping, Ice fishing WITH HEATER OF COURSE, scary movies, just about any tv on a rainy day, cycling, mushroom hunting in the spring, family get togethers, a good cup of iced coffee in the morning, dressing up and going out w/friends or that potential significant other, talking about, listening to, or tuning in to any subject or program having anything to do with the sciences. Everyone says that they hate to describe themselves. I don't have a problem with it, because there is not much to describe. I am very much a homebody. I will go out and do things, but rarely if I am the only instigating. I have no problems tagging along with friends, just don't always wait for me to start the party. I don't try hide and pretend to be someone else depending on who I am around. Maybe I do and I am just saying that to try to convince myself that my life has not been one big lie. Like how many licks it takes to get to the center of a Tootsie Pop (which rule hardcore by the way) the world may never know.

I keep to myself around strangers but you would have a very difficult time getting me to shut up if I got comfortable around you. When it comes to talking I have a problem with not being able to make initial contact, so when I do I usually hide it around something else like, "You looked at my profile first, stalker!"

I like being around people I like and have few (but close) friends. We are all nerds and do nerdy things, usually gaming related, and we enjoy it thoroughly. NERD!

My last serious relationship didn't work out too well because I felt she wasn't wanting to give my friends a chance. My significant other simply has to get along with my close friends. I spent enough time with them that it would cause a serious problem, so if you all can't play nice I will pick them over you. Nothing too personal, they were here first.

Self-Summary, hmm? I've always hated writing about myself, because i never quite know how to say what i'm thinking, and it usually comes out egotistical or like i'm selling myself short. Let's just say that i have high standards, but they are attainable, and i've got a slightly cynical attitude toward humanity in general. I need to be able to have a conversation with you, to be able to use words like 'euphoric' and 'supercilious' without batting an eye. One of the basic tests i've found to let me know if conversation on a deeper level than small-talk is in your future is how you read aloud. If reading aloud is easy and fluid, then conversation should be able to include words over three letters long.

Oh wait, i've gone off-topic, as this is a *self* summary. Well, in that vein i own two cats myself and two with my boyfriend (one of whom, as i write this, is busy knocking things off my bookshelf, another of whom is kneading a fleece blanket by my feet, and two others of whom are watching the bookcase spectacle...), and we foster cats for a rescue shelter. Thus, there can be up to eight or so cats in our apartment at one time, from birth to seniority. I especially like tiny baby kittens, and have bottle-fed multiple foster kittens.

I consider myself a geek, have since high school. I'm not nearly as intelligent as my high school friends, and never got into computers and such, which i regret, since i loved taking computer science in college. Instead i majored in philosophy. I love to game and watch sci-fi movies... Zombie movies, X-men, and things like Kino's Journey and Invader Zim.

I also love children. I work at a daycare, and my favorite age group is birth to two. Infants are my absolute preference.

I love being around extroverted people as I tend to walk the line between extroversion and introversion, enjoying my alone time with my thoughts and a good book, movie or laptop surfing but I also love outgoing people who bring that out in me.

Spiritually, I follow an eclectic pagan path and have done so for 10 years. I see my spirituality as who I am, not just what I do. I honor and respect all faiths and life paths (religious or not) as sacred though my own path is heavily focused on personal growth and finding the divine within all things.

I am a little geeky and a bit goth in my interests which include reading, journaling or prose and poetry writing. I also enjoy a good game of Magic the Gathering because I find it to be very strategically stimulating. My inner actress is fed by Vampire the Masquerade table top role playing and sometimes D&D though I enjoy VTM more. I love the euphoric, passionate feeling I get from dancing, I like a good game of cards and conversation with friends, campfires/bonfires and I love to entertain and throw at least one theme party a year usually on New Years Eve. I find ultimate pleasure in good friends (our chosen family), laughter and memory making.

Hey I'm Ryan, I am 19 years and I live in La Crosse. I am a graduate from Western technical college in HVACR ( Heating, Ventilation, Air conditioning, Refrigeration) as of right now I'm just working as a heating tech. at Cargill heating.

I would have to say that I am really laid back always up to do anything and everything. Things that I really enjoy would be fishing, hunting, snowboarding basically anything outdoors. I am not really much of a city boy.

My job is very demanding, I work my normal hours and on call. You might wonder why someone would need to be on call, well you'll understand when your furnace goes out during the middle of the winter. Luckily a handsome young man (myself LOL) will show up at your door to restore the heat that you had been missing!

I am so interested in a ton of things but what I like best are animals. I love them all and I have too many. I also love to go places, not like the big city, I like to explore the natural world and some of the new. If that makes any sense. Anyway I also love to dance. The dancing that catches your emotion it's not just dancing, you can feel it in your stomach. I don't like slutty dancing. Where to start? I am currently in my second year of college (going into community corrections after graduation). I am quiet at first, but I will open up to those I trust. I like to have fun and (just to warn you) I can be pretty sarcastic. I have to say that I am usually not into partying. I am very busy with school and work so I don't like wasting my time surrounded by a bunch of drunk people.

I am a pretty independent person. I do not like relying on people, but I am finding out that sometimes it can be necessary. I can be very stubborn and strongwilled. I don't take no for an answer. If I have a goal or a dream, I go after it with everything that I have.
